Morrison County's only lynching, 1962?.

A typed paper by Robert D. Pomeroy describing the events leading to a lynching of three Ojibwe Indians in Swan River, near Little Falls, Minnesota in August, 1857. While transporting three Ojibwe to St. Paul as alleged murderers for the killing of a peddler, the Morrison County Sheriff, his deputy, and the three prisoners were abducted and the three prisoners were taken to Swan River and hanged. Following the text of the paper are a bibliography and notes.
